I downloaded a copy of this free short story on 21st December 2021 but have absolutely no idea where I found it. It must have appealed to me at the time I found it. However, it's another short story which has been buried under the weight of so very many titles!

Each book is numbered chronologically in the series, but every title is a complete story in its own right.
FRIENDLY NOTE: All of Elizabeth’s books feature realistic characters who do things real people do (like have sex) and say things real people say (like drop f-bombs).

My thoughts:
This short story sits between books two and three in The Agency series and is the first story I've read in this seies and also from this author.
It was easy enough to follow without having read the previous books, but I rather wish I'd read them in order because I felt I was missing out on Violet and Ethan's backstory and an understanding of what makes Stella tick.
Nevertheless, I found it to be an interesting happy-ending story, where Violet gets the Christmas she deserves.
