I have been devouring this delightful series since it first came to my attention last year. I love the characters, the setting, and the storylines. So naturally I was overjoyed to find an invitation to join the blog tour for Waves of Change in Pelican Crossing and shuffled a few things around to ensure I could take part.

My thoughts:
Did I say I loved this series already? I did! But I can't help repeating myself. This series speaks to me in ways that other stories I've enjoyed don't. I love the setting which always feels like a little bit of paradise; the thoughtful walks on sandy beaches; the early morning swims with the wild swimmers that clear the head and focus the mind for the day ahead; and the unhurried pace of life.
I always feel a great affinity for the people in these captivating, standalone stories. They feel like friends that I've known forever. I love the tight-knit community, comprising many of the characters I've already come to know and some I know I'll hear about in greater detail in future stories, all of whom come together to support their friends.
This story is not without its twists and turns as Olivia Grace, or Livvy to her friends, returns to Pelican Crossing after a longer-than-planned stay in England with her daughter only to find things have changed in her absence. In making a fresh start, she meets Dan Parker who arrived in Pelican Crossing with his teenaged daughter while she was away.
Waves of Change in Pelican Crossing is another beautifully written, happy ending story which sees Livvy overcome her self-imposed barriers to beginning a relationship with newcomer Dan Parker.
Once again, highly recommended to readers who love a later in life romance.
